Please note: I've never been anti-Apple. In my effort to remain frugal with technology products (and splurge more on shoes) I rely on other means to listen to music. Not until the boyfriend recognized my increased use of his iPod for workouts did I confess that I need an iPod. Those who know me understand my love for music. I however, could not imagine spending $400 on a device to store music (shoes, much)? So what's the next best thing to spending your own money? Gift cards... duh!
Thanks to the boyfriend and his love of seeing me light up like a child, I am now an iPod carrying consumer.
Watch out world!

Oh to be a MJ fan... Cirque Approved
Let it be known that I am an 80's baby. Needless to say being a MJ fan kinda comes with the territory. I remember having all his music as a child and my mom throwing in the additional MJ memorabilia.
Last night I was given the opportunity to step back into my childhood and rock out to my favorite songs through Cirque du Soleil's Michael Jackson The Immortal Tour (thanks to free tickets from an individual who will remain nameless lol). There have been few times when I struggled expressing what I saw but this event was one of those times. There is no one adjective or verb to express the level of creativity and planning that went into the design of this show.
Due to my fears of being locked up aka J-A-I-L (please note: the downtown jail was right outside the Scottrade Center) I was unable to snap in-person photos of the show.
If you are a fan of MJ or even Cirque du Soleil I would HIGHLY recommend you see this show.

30 on 30 #HappyBirthday2Me
I am sure I am not the first or the last person to suffer from anxiety about turning the BIG 3-0. For the past few months I've complained and dreaded the idea of leaving my 20's.
After further deliberation I decided to act on the concept of 30 "being the new 20." For the year 2012, I will find new, exciting and challenging activities to help me experience 30 at its finest. Go me!
First stop Connelly's Goody Goody for breakfast
My BFF would not let me leave Crown Candy empty handed.
We're on our way up. There's no turning back... I think
All the way up for MY first time!
Late night martini's
#HappyBirthdayToME!
A journey can be a good thing. Stay tuned...
